I woke up this morning to discover that Everyday I Write The Book has been shortlisted for an award for Book Blogger Appreciation Week: Best Book Club Blog. I am thrilled, because the competition this year was very stiff (there were 1,200 blogs nominated across categories), and because there are so many other great blogs in the running, many of which I follow daily. Thanks so much to those who nominated me initially, and to the judging panel who decided I belonged on the shortlist. I love the thought that this blog helps strengthen the book reading community both through the EDIWTB book club, and also by helping book clubs choose their next picks.
