FIrst of all – congratulations to Books on the Nightstand for winning BBAW Best Book Club Blog! I was honored to be in the same company as you and the other nominees, and have added you to my blog reader. And thank you to EDIWTB readers who voted for me! Maybe next year…!
The BBAW topic for today is: On Thursday we encourage you to blog about a book you read only because you discovered it on another book blog. Preferably, this will be a book you loved! You might also write a bit about the blog you discovered it on!
The book that immediately came to mind was Perfection, by Julie Metz, reviewed here. I read about it first on S. Krishna's Books. Swapna is an incredibly prolific reader – she has read more books this year, by far, than I have read since launching my blog in 2006. She reads a tremendous range of books, and I frequently find books on her blog that end up on my TBR list. Her reviews are thoughtful and sincere, and she seems to manage to find something nice to say about everything she's read. Our tastes don't overlap 100% – I tend to stick to literary fiction, but I still highly recommend her blog. Just beware – her posts will pile up in your reader if you're not checking every day!!
About Me
I have been blogging about books here at Everyday I Write the Book since 2006. I love to read, and I love to talk about books and what other people are reading.
