I have escaped the Washington DC heat with a quick trip to San Francisco this week. It was cold enough here last night to require a sweater and a leather jacket – I had forgotten what San Francisco "summers" are like!
I discovered a new bookstore to add to my list of favorite local bookstores: Book Passage, which is located in the beautifully renovated Ferry Building. Great fiction selection, and it even had a book about crossword puzzle addiction that I have been looking for for a while. Plus it has a view of the water and the Bay Bridge.
