Now I’m regretting not only saying no to this one at ALA but also when it was pitched to me this summer. I grew up adoring Ringwald and (foolishly, clearly) dismissed this one as another celebrity-penned book. I’m not wild about short stories, but it sounds like this one makes the interconnections work.

I’m always a bit skeptical when I see celebrities writing books, but this does sound like a genuinely good read. I love fragmented tales and I love introspective characters so I will definitely be adding this one to my list!
